Crawler - Definition
A Crawler, also known as a spider or a bot (short for robot), is the software Google uses to process and index the content of web pages residing on the Internet. If you are enrolled within the Google AdSense program, the AdSense crawler will visit your site to determine its content in order to provide relevant ads.
