Fresh Crawl - Definition
A Fresh Crawl came about from Main Crawl where Google updates its entire web site index once a month. This is also referred to as the Google Dance. In an effort to make search results as relevant as possible, Google introduced a fresh crawl that runs each day. The fresh craw will crawl pages that are already in the index, picking up new pages along the way. This lets Google serve results that are totally up-to-date.
