Home Page - Definition
A Home Page refers to the main index or navigation page of a web site. The home page doesn’t necessarily have to be the first page of a web site. For instance, many sites use splash pages containing Macromedia Flash images to first welcome their visitors, and then lead them to the home page. Today’s search engines allow you to submit just your home page and leave it to the spiders to crawl through the rest of their site.
