Junk Mail - Definition
Junk Mail refers to unsolicited Electronic Mail (E-Mail) that is typically sent in bulk format, and especially of a commercial nature, to users without their prior approval. This definition can be extended to include junk postings to Internet forum groups, where a user doesn’t actually contribute anything of value to the forum itself or its topics, but instead simply joins the forum to post self promotion or personal links to ones site.
