In the Google AdWords program, An Active Keyword has a high enough Quality Score and cost-per-click (CPC) bid to trigger ads on Google. This means your keyword’s CPC bid meets the quality-based minimum bid. Active keywords (eligible to enter the ad auction) usually do perform at a moderate level of success.
