Match - Definition
When a user submits a query to a search engine, a Match would be considered to be a document, web page or web page listings that contain the words used in the user query. The matching words or terms would then be displayed within the search results pages. Google actually uses four different keyword matching options. Each option will specify a different way for a keyword to interact with search queries.
