Query By Example - Definition
Query By Example is a search method one can use when they want to request information the search engine considers similar to the information the user specifies. For instance, you can search for documents based on an example in the form of a selected text string or in the form of a document name or a list of documents. When your query is submitted, the search engine(s), will perform a search for similar material.
