Spamdexing - Definition
Spamdexing derives from Spamming and Indexing. It refers to the various techniques employed to misuse the search engines in order to gain an undeserved advantage in search engines rankings for the particular web sites. Google and other search engines have developed ways of detecting these techniques, which if successful, can lead to the web sites being penalized or banned by removing their listings entirely.
