Station Format - Definition
In the Google AdWords program, Station Format refers to the overall theme or structure of a station. Examples include: Jazz, Talk Radio, Popular Hits, etc. Different Station Formats appeal to different audiences. Therefore, you will want to advertise on the Station Format that most resembles your target customer. For example, Adult Contemporary contains many different sub-formats. Adult Contemporary usually means Michael Bolton, while Rhythmic Contemporary Hit Radio might play dance music by 50-Cent.
