Title - Definition
Every web page should be given a Title, which is contained between the HTML <title> </title> tag. The text description that you assign to the title tag is what will appear on the title bar in the uppermost area of your web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, when the page is being displayed. Search engines typically show the first 66 characters of the title in their search results pages. Page titles are also used as the default entry in the Favorites when one bookmarks a web site.
