Transaction - Definition
In the Google AdWords program, a Transaction refers to a single occurrence of a conversion event. Multiple transactions can occur after a user clicks on your AdWords ad. For instance, if a user clicks on your ad and then makes two separate purchases on your site worth $15.00 US and $100.00 US, you will see a report for one conversion from the ad, two purchase transactions, and a total value of $125.00 US.
