Trojan Horse - Definition
A Trojan Horse, also known as a Trojan, is a computer program that damages computers by pretending to have a specific purpose but actually causes a system breach when started or acted upon. A Trojan Horse doesn’t automatically replicate itself. One of the most insidious types of Trojan horse is a program that claims to rid your computer of viruses but instead introduces viruses onto your computer system.
