A Unique Visitor Session refers to a measurement of visitor interaction with a web site for which the visitor can be tracked and declared with a high degree of confidence as being unique for the time period being analyzed. The Unique Visitor Session actually differs in meaning from a Visitor Session, which is defined as any period of interaction between a Visitor (both unique and untrackable visitor types) and a web site.
